Gênese: O despertar

Ele acordou confuso.

Novamente o mesmo sonho. Estava exausto, suado.

Sonhou que corria, mais precisamente, fugia de algo ou alguém. Ele não sabia ao certo. Só as palavras do velho: "Procure o símbolo na exposição, não esqueça". As imagens embaralhadas, seus pensamentos embotados...

Sentou-se devagar sentindo cada pedaço de seu corpo dolorido; Seus pés tocaram o chão frio. Ele lembrou, num momento leve, que deveria comprar tapetes para o chão. Era um péssimo "Dono de casa". Um breve sorriso, descontraiu as feições dele.

"Ah, Sêo Luis" - disse ele em voz alta, como quem quer acordar - "Você tem que resolver isso. Não dá pra acordar mais um dia assim. Essa correria Onírica tá te deixando um caco!"

Ele levantou-se num salto, e num ato de coragem e disposição disse:

"Ok, vamos nessa tal exposição, 'Gênese: a Celebração', lá na Pinacoteca. Vamos ver se os sonhos param..."

Era sua folga e lá foi ele pra Pinacoteca. Luis, sem acento e sem "Z", como ele sempre falava, adorava a Pinacoteca, não ia tanto quanto gostaria e tinha certeza que esse sonho era seu inconsciente dizendo a ele que já fazia tempo demais sem uma visita.

Ele estava enganado.

O Sol estava forte, mas as nuvens escuras prenunciavam uma chuva de verão bem forte e passageira. Ele ria, lógico que iria chover em sua folga, pensava, e ansiava por já estar na Pinacoteca quando isso acontecesse.

Com a sorte a seu lado ele chegou e foi procurando a exposição. Sua cabeça com essa ideia de achar uma exposição que não poderia nem existir. E enquanto vagava pelos corredores em sua busca, Luis repassava as palavras do velho em seu sonho.

O Velho...

O mesmo velho toda a noite, chegava antes da perseguição, que o rapaz nem sabia como começava, ou o porquê; Ele chegava sereno e sisudo, sua voz forte e vibrante,  fora isso, o velho, parecia o vovô de alguém.

"Luis, visito seu sonho para instruí-lo. Escute com atenção."

Em seu sonho, o rapaz, sentiu-se obrigado a escutar, quieto, hipnotizado.

"Somos de povos antigos, além da Terra, e os sinais estão em todo o lugar. Estamos voltando." - A expressão do velho não se alterava. Luis sentia-se num onírico Star Wars.

"Voltamos, por que nossos inimigos voltaram." - Continuou o ancião - "E nossos descendentes precisam estar prontos para a luta. Para proteger nossos filhos."

"Nossa, que sonho bacana! Continue meu bom velho, que posso fazer para ajudar?" - Perguntou Luis em sua forma etérea.

"Não brinque, Luis, Preste atenção. " - Apesar de impassível na expressão facial, a voz do velho dava a entender que ele não estava de brincadeira - "Você precisa despertar, não desse sonho apenas, mas despertar para sua essência ancestral. A chave para isso está numa estátua exposta na Pinacoteca. Ela é o símbolo do povo ao qual você descende. Ao olhar para ela, você saberá. E o despertar começará".

A forma do Luis travestiu-se de Jedi em seu sonho. Clássico.

"Luis, procure a Exposição 'Gênese: a Celebração', na Pinacoteca. Procure o símbolo na exposição. E você saberá." - O velho tomou a forma do Obi Wan Kenobi. Claro que Luis era um Nerd.

"Guardião de Anúbis, Procure o símbolo na exposição, não esqueça."

Com essa conversa, já decorada em mente depois de varias noites com o mesmo sonho, o jovem seguiu pelos corredores ouvindo 'Rush - Show of Hands' alto, ele achava que nada melhor que Rush para a trilha sonora de sua épica aventura... Pelo menos o cara tem bom gosto.

Já estava desistindo, claro que ele devia, mas não pediu informação; foi indo em direção ao café, quando encontrou a exposição. Após um lapso de choque, ele pensou, 'já devia ter visto em algum lugar, e já que estou aqui por que não?'

A exposição continha centenas de esculturas, máscaras, objetos do dia-a-dia, de vários materiais e formas originados de muitos lugares da África: Congo, Nigéria, Senegal, Costa do marfim, Tanzânia... Luis olhava e olhava, ele não gostava muito das obras africanas, não as entendia; e geralmente as relacionava com pesadelos.

E com o pensamento em pesadelos, ele viu o símbolo. E sua mente explodiu num turbilhão de imagens, informações, historias. Ele soube quem era e qual o seu legado.

Ele despertou, ele era Luis, mas também era "Bes Ata", Guardião de Anúbis, e precisava reunir todos os outros Guardiões. Eles precisavam estar prontos para o chamado. Olhou ao seu redor, vendo o mundo diferente, ele estava diferente, e ainda era o mesmo cara...

Então resolveu deixar pra salvar o mundo depois que tomasse um bom e forte Expresso duplo. Lógico, para acordar.
