As sextas eu levo pão de (4) queijo(s) pra Firma...

Todo ultimo dia útil da semana, que no meu caso é hoje, eu levo pão de queijo da Santa Efigênia. Na realidade é pão de quatro queijos.

Bruce Masters leva sua adoração por cerveja ao extremo do recorde; coisa de fã

Um tipo de tour que até estudantes jovens talvez hesitariam em fazer, vem sendo realizado por um senhor de 66 anos. Bruce Masters planeja entrar para o Livro dos Recordes com uma jornada que começou em 1960: visitar o maior número de pubs britânicos.

Em 51 anos, ele percorreu milhões de quilômetros - tudo de trem - e consumiu cerca de 25 mil litros de cerveja. Fã da bebida, mantém um banco de dados em seu computador sobre os lugares visitados, incluindo aqueles que ficam na saída de aeroportos e nas estações de trem.

Sua última parada foi no pub "Hole In The Wall", que fica em Portsmouth, o bar de número 45 mil que visitou. Última até agora, pois ele não pretende finalizar sua odisseia etílica tão cedo.

"Há ainda um grande número de pubs que não fui. Acredito que, se tiver que fazer algo valer a pena, tem que fazê-lo corretamente", afirmou Masters ao site "Metro.co.uk".

Apesar de ter ido aos quatro cantos do Reino Unido, seus dois pubs favoritos estão na cidade de Flitwick, em Bedfordshire, que é sua cidade natal: o "Bumble Bee" e "The Swan".

Masters admite que sua mulher, Violet, não é grande fã de seu recorde. "O que importa é que ela não me impede de fazer isso. Simplesmente prefere ficar em casa", finaliza.
